Brilliant Blogging

Calling all Travelwise Schools! If you're registered to attend one of our upcoming Primary or Intermediate Student Workshops, please donwload and follow these instructions:

Travelwise Brilliant Blogging Pre-Workshop Instructions

In order to make the most of our time on the day, we would like you to please set up a Google account and blog for your Travelwise Team. If you already have one, fantastic! Simply skip to the section about setting up a new blog, and create a new blog that we can play with on the day.

If you’ve never heard of Google before, don’t fear. The instructions below will guide you in the right direction. If you get stuck, contact your CTC and they’ll help you out, or email Travelwise@aucklandtransport.govt.nz and someone will give you a hand.

If you have any photos or evidence from your pre-workshop task, you can bring them on a USB stick (or load them into Google Web Albums if you’re feeling ambitious).

Make sure you know the username and password for your new account on the day. Bring your brilliant brains and be prepared to build a Brilliant Blog!

Campaign Launch - Buckle Up

This week the Travelwise team will be at the gate with our police officer height chart measuring students as they come into school. Remember, you must be 7 years old to get out of a booster seat but it's safest to use your booster seat until you're 148cm.

Room 5 year 5-6 class measured their heights. Here are our results:

10 students need a booster seat. That's almost half our class!

Walk to School Week

This week was our school's walk to school week with each week being a different theme where we were allowed to dress up. Friday was our Funky Feet competition where the whole school decorated their shoes or feet and walked to school
